A friend of mine a few years back had another one of his crazy ideas, but this one worked out pretty nicely.

The shape of a old wooden snow ski, and the taper it had already, he constructed a bow in a few minutes on the bandsaw, attached at the handle with a piece of metal pipe. It worked !

Now thats a interesting bow, not something your going to brag about to the hunters out on the field, but you know, its a fun project and a good use for a old pair of skis
